Job Title:
Bilingual Special Education Teacher (Full-Time) for Next School Year

As a Co-Teacher, you will work closely with general education teachers to provide tailored support within and outside of the general education classroom. This role is integral in ensuring that students with moderate disabilities receive the individualized attention and resources they need to thrive academically and socially.

• Co-Teaching:
  Collaborate with general education teachers to co-teach 5th-grade students, integrating special education strategies and supports into the classroom.
• Student Support:
  Provide individualized and small group instruction to students with moderate disabilities both within and outside the general education classroom.
• Lesson Planning:
  Participate in lesson planning and curriculum development to ensure that all students needs are met.
• Progress Monitoring:
  Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction and support as needed.
• IEP Implementation:
  Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with the special education team to ensure compliance and student success.

• Valid MA DESE license in Special Education/Moderate Disabilities.
• Special Education licenses in the state of Massachusetts.
• Bilingual proficiency.
• Experience working with 5th-grade students is preferred.
