Early Literacy Tutor (K-3)

Location:

Worcester, MA.
Job Type: Part‑Time.

Start Date:

Fall 2026.

Provide contracted instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing for K‑3 students using Catapult Learning curriculum. Advocate, mentor, and guide students toward academic success.

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
• Attend training and deliver instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Supervise students, including escorting them safely to and from sessions.
• Maintain student records and files per local, state, and federal requirements.
• Attend and document meetings and training with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay: $35 per hour (USD 35.00–36.00 per hr).

• Bachelor’s degree and experience working with children.
• Completion of FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Strong belief that all children can learn.
• Proficiency navigating online platforms for record‑keeping and communication.

Light lifting, walking, and climbing stairs; work primarily in school settings.
