Job Description
SUBJECT:
Construction Craft Laborer (CCL)
REPORTS TO:
Building Principal, Director of Career Vocational and Technical Education
This individual is accountable for the teaching and supervision of Chapter 74 students under the direction of the Department Head.
Principal Responsibilities- MA DESE Teacher’s approval (Chapter 74) in CCL, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Curriculum development experience and knowledge of integration of technical competencies with curriculum frameworks.
- Five years of recent full-time employment experience directly related to CCL.
- Competency in software and programming applications related to the subject matter.
- Competency in the use of computer applications and instructional technology to aid in the interactive delivery of instruction.
- Incorporate fundamentals of subject matter into the delivery of curriculum instruction.
- SEI Endorsement
- Familiar with blending learning environment.
- Advanced educational preparation.
- Evidence of educational leadership.
- Evidence of good human relation skills.
- Ability to develop & deliver instruction that helps to ensure program enrollment growth.
- Evidence of or ability to meet industry-recognized credentials.
- Authorized 10 & 30
- Hour OSHA General Industry Trainer. - Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience-supporting students with special needs.
- Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, or an African Language
- Experience teaching students who are English language learners
- Demonstrated experience with second language acquisition.
- Candidates who are licensed in another state will be considered if they qualify for the temporary license from DESE (must possess the equivalent license from another state and must have documented proof of working under that license for at least three complete school years). Candidates will need to apply for and pay for the DESE license as a condition of employment.
