Title: GFR 162 Lead Facilitator

General Statement of Duties: Under the leadership of the Program Manager, Lead Facilitator will assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the LIDER program including, but not limited to: outreach, recruitment, and retention of Worcester's youth. Candidate must be a supportive, willing, positive, and energetic participant in the implementation of the outcome measurement system.

Responsibilities

Maintain and nurture a positive youth development culture.

Communicate and plan with the Program Staff on a regular basis, keeping them informed of all activity within the program relating to logistics, participants, staff and partners.

Maintain accurate records of monitoring and evaluation tools, attendance, directory, and assessments for all participants.

Meet weekly with the Program Staff and program team to coordinate staffing, enrollment changes and curriculum modifications.

Assist the Instructor in providing up-to-date monthly program highlights such as photos, success stories, etc. to Digital Artist for social media posting.

Assist the Instructor to ensure the appropriate implementation and coordination of field trips, guest speakers, and optional program offerings (Family Academies).

Participate in required trainings, workshops, conferences or other aspects of professional development including funder-sponsored events.

Serve as a mandated reporter, reporting any suspicion of child abuse or neglect in collaboration with the Executive Director and any compliance procedures for follow-through.

Other duties as assigned, including supporting other staff and representing the organization upon assignment.

Required Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Office applications and recordkeeping.

Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.

Strong work ethic and commitment to positive youth development.

Success in prioritizing and meeting multiple demands and deadlines.

Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work collaboratively, manage own work and time, and be accountable for performance.

Alignment and agreement with the vision, mission, and values of the Latino Education Institute.

Ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and/or 2-3 years of experience working with persons from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.

Reliable access to transportation.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
