After School Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated after school mentor to provide leadership and implement a safe and age-appropriate after-school program for school-age youth. This is a seasonal position that will begin September 3, 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the after school program coordinator to design and enhance after-school programs.
• Monitor children's attendance and academic progress to ensure their development.
• Assist team members in creating a secure, efficient, and productive environment for both staff and children.
• Generate incident reports as necessary to maintain program safety and integrity.
• Develop and lead high-quality academic and enrichment clubs that engage students.
• Motivate children to set and achieve their academic and personal goals.
• Engage with families, colleagues, and staff to foster development and maintain consistent communication.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old.
• 2 or more years of experience in school age programs or comparable experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• This position requires up to date physical and immunization records.
• CPR and/or First Aid Certification, preferred.
