Bancroft School seeks an Upper School English teacher for a long-term substitute beginning in late August until mid-November. Developing students’ skills as critical thinkers, analytical and creative writers, positive contributors, and collaborators is central to this role.

• Teach 9th and 10th grade English
• Consistent and regular communication with students, parents, and advisors

• Bachelor's degree in English or Education
• Three to five years of teaching experience preferred
• Experience in and enthusiasm for implementing inquiry-based learning
• Proven ability to differentiate instruction
• A commitment to teaching the writing process
• Experience with online collaborative learning software

Bancroft School offers a competitive salary range for this position of $175 per day. Final salary details will be provided upon an employment offer.
