Bancroft School seeks an Upper School English teacher for a long-term substitute beginning in late August until mid-November. Developing students’ skills as critical thinkers, analytical and creative writers, positive contributors, and collaborators is central to this role.
Essential Responsibilities- Teach 9th and 10th grade English
- Consistent and regular communication with students, parents, and advisors
- Bachelor's degree in English or Education
- Three to five years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience in and enthusiasm for implementing inquiry-based learning
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction
- A commitment to teaching the writing process
- Experience with online collaborative learning software

Compensation & BenefitsBancroft School offers a competitive salary range for this position of $175 per day. Final salary details will be provided upon an employment offer.
