SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Director of Recruitment
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: May supervise non-professional and/or part-time student staff as assigned
General Statement of Duties: The Assistant Director of Admissions serves as a representative of Worcester State University, leading undergraduate recruitment efforts and fostering relationships with prospective students, families, and school partners. The incumbent represents the university at recruitment events, provides comprehensive admissions counseling, evaluates undergraduate applications and renders admissions decisions.
Performs other related work in support of the university'senrollment goals and strategic recruitment initiatives.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively; valid driver'slicense.
- Ability to work some nights and weekends for recruitment purposes.
- Strong attention to detail; excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding communications skills in both written and oral formats.
- Outstanding interactive skills; ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position withor without reasonable accommodation.
- Must pass thorough background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Admissions
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, benefited, exempt, APA professional position.
The firm annual salary range for this position is $58,000- $62,000,commensurate with relevant professional experience and education.
