Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Building Substitute Teacher to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. The Building Substitute Teacher will be responsible for providing consistent instructional support across various classrooms, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of regular teachers. This role is benefit-eligible and requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials left by absent teachers, ensuring alignment with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Maintain effective classroom management, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
- Adapt to various teaching assignments and grade levels as needed, demonstrating flexibility and versatility.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and address any challenges that arise during instructional periods.
- Communicate any pertinent information or feedback to school administrators regarding student performance or classroom experiences.
- Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. - Licensure:
While Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licensure is not strictly required for substitute teachers, possession of a teaching license is preferred and may be required for certain long-term assignments. - Experience:
Prior teaching or classroom experience is preferred. - Skills:
Strong classroom management abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to adapt to different educational settings and student needs.
Background check and fingerprinting as required by Massachusetts regulations.
