Job Description
Provides professional, technical, research, sampling, data collection, basic labor, and administrative work on a variety of projects with various DPW staff members. Projects could involve any aspect of DPW functions, including horizontal (water, sewer, roads), vertical (buildings), and marine infrastructure evaluation, design and construction; water treatment and distribution; wastewater collection and treatment; solid waste collection; and road and grounds repair and maintenance.

Projects could involve any aspect of DPW functions, including horizontal (water, sewer, roads), vertical (buildings), and marine infrastructure evaluation, design and construction; water treatment and distribution; wastewater collection and treatment; solid waste collection; and road and grounds repair and maintenance.
Ideal candidate will have career aspirations in Public Works fields.
Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent is required and must be at least 18 years old. Progress toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, environmental sciences, Biology, Geology/groundwater hydrology, and/or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
A driver’s license is required.
Compensation$19.50 hourly, no benefits
