BuildingEvolution is looking for a team member with the following qualification:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, architecture, construction technology, or similar.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience.
- Technical understanding of high-performance building of Mechanical and Enclosure systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Certified Passive House Consultant (Phius). Experience to include: WUFI Passive (and/or METr), THERM modeling, develop building geometry from plans in Sketch Up, and submitting Phius projects for Design and Final Certification.
- Energy Modeling. Perform advanced energy modeling analysis for commercial and residential buildings primarily using Open Studio/Energy Plus in accordance with ASHRAE Standards.
- Perform energy savings and lifecycle cost analyses of energy saving measures related to the building enclosure, lighting, HVAC, plug loads, and building energy management systems.
- Perform excel based calculations utilizing engineering principles.
- Develop and write reports that detail building components as well as describe energy efficiency measures to improve design and control for new and existing facilities.
- Performing on-site inspections and testing involving visual observation and diagnostic testing of building performance issues, enclosure/mechanical system failures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based file management tools.
- Salary Range: $86,000 - $112,000, commensurate with experience.
