Wozny/Barbar & Associates is a full-service consulting firm with approximately 40 employees with offices in Hanover, MA and Pawtucket, RI. We specialize in the design of HVAC, electric, communications, security, AV, heating, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and energy management systems.
The firm was founded in 1988 to provide clients with multi-disciplinary engineering from the conceptual design phase through the construction administration phase.
Our clients include architects, building owners, and developers with a wide array of projects from large residential complexes to university buildings, cultural centers, labs, office buildings, restaurants and warehouses. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service to our clients while maintaining a family like environment for our employees to accelerate in.

We are presently seeking the following professionals for the MA /RI offices:
Mechanical EngineerCandidates will be responsible for the complete performance of mechanical engineering by designing HVAC systems that fit the need of the project and coordinating with multi-disciplines to assure excellent engineering practices. Salary commensurate with experience.
Candidates should have the following:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience designing HVAC.
- Experience with 3D Modeling programs such as AutoCAD & Revit.
- Building and Energy code and standard requirements.
- LEED and Energy Star standards.
- Construction administration.
- Perform construction site inspections to review installations of systems and generate reports.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual and able to meet deadlines.
