Overview
Traffic Engineer for a leading manufacturer's representative firm based near Worcester, MA. This role is responsible to provide technical engineering support on the proper application of traffic control devices and ITS products.
Direct hire job opportunity. Relocation assistance is available.
Location:
Worcester, Massachusetts. Job type:
Permanent. Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
Work hours:
8am to 4pm.
Education:
Bachelors.
- Provide technical engineering support on the proper application of traffic control devices and products
- Ensuring proper application, integration, and compliance of traffic control and products within transportation projects
- Collaborate with public agencies, consulting engineers, and contractors to integrate appropriate traffic and products into project designs
- Evaluate product compliance with project requirements, agency standards, and industry regulations
- Review construction plans and project specifications to apply product solutions
- Deliver product presentations and technical trainings
- Support internal sales and operations teams with technical expertise and project guidance
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering
- Knowledge of traffic signal timing, ITS devices, and roadway communication systems
- Experience working with State DOTs, municipalities, or transportation consulting firms
- Experience providing technical sales support
- Project Management
