We are seeking a highly motivated Computational Simulation Engineer with experience in the medical device industry to support structural analysis, computational modeling, and simulation activities for product development and engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ANSYS and strong expertise in structural analysis and computational modeling within regulated engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and computational simulations using ANSYS
  • Develop and validate computational models for medical device products and components
  • Support product design, development, and engineering analysis activities
  • Analyze simulation results and provide technical recommendations
  • Collaborate with R&D, mechanical engineering, and product development teams
  • Prepare technical reports, simulation documentation, and engineering analysis summaries
  • Support verification, validation, and testing activities
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards for medical devices
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in computational modeling and structural analysis
  • Strong hands-on experience with ANSYS
  • Experience with in the medical device industry is required
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with medical device product development
  • Familiarity with material characterization and biomechanics
  • Knowledge of FDA-regulated environments and engineering documentation
  • Exposure to multiphysics simulations is a plus
