Structural Engineer

Job Description

A Privately owned, family-oriented company seeks a Structural Engineer for a full-time permanent position in Brighton, MA.

Responsibilities of Structural Engineer include:

• Complete inspections on bridges and load ratings
• Prepare all necessary reports
• Design bridges for new construction as well as rehabilitation and replacements projects
• Develop constructions plans while coordinating with CAD designers
• Prepare cost estimates, specifications, proposals and work hour estimates
• Complete other related tasks as assigned

Requirements of Structural Engineer:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in civil/structural engineering
• Licensed professional engineer preferred
• NBIS qualified Team Leader with structural design experience
• Completed one or more NHI courses;
  Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (130055), Bridge Inspection Refresher Training (130053), Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges (130078), Tunnel Safety Inspection (130110), Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures (130087)
• Good Communications skills
• Able to work independently or in team setting
• Superior attention to detail

Hours:

8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate: $85,000-$113,000/year
