North America Tech Deploy (NA TD) team is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our team. The Process Engineer will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, optimizing deployment processes, and ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of fulfillment center technologies across North America. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to deliver scalable solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency in technology deployments.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and is passionate about using data-driven approaches to solve complex operational challenges.

Key job responsibilities

  • Analyze deployment data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve deployment cycle times
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on deployment standards and best practices
  • Conduct site visits to observe installations, gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, and validate process adherence
  • Drive lessons learned processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented across the network
  • Manage escalations related to process deviations and coordinate resolution with stakeholder teams
A day in the life

As a Process Engineer on the TD Process Engineering team, your day centers on building and scaling the processes that enable Tech Deploy to operate with speed and consistency. You'll review adoption metrics to assess process compliance across TD teams, facilitate value stream mapping sessions to identify deployment bottlenecks, and implement governance controls that ensure standards are sustained. Whether you're standardizing a tool across multiple teams, defining a new framework for an NPI deployment, or presenting process improvement outcomes at a business review, your work directly enables Amazon to deploy robotics technology at scale across North America.

Amazon offers a full range of benefits for you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children. Benefits can vary by location, the number of regularly scheduled hours you work, length of employment, and job status such as seasonal or temporary employment. The benefits that generally apply to regular, full-time employees include:

  • Maternity and Parental Leave Options
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401(k) Plan
