The Design Engineer is responsible for the development, design, and planning for best-in-class physical game content. Level
99 Engineers identify critical aspects of new challenges and create prototypes to assess both the technical and experiential risks presented. They work closely with the project management, creative, and software development teams to ensure that scenic details and important gameplay moments are successfully executed. The Design Engineer drafts drawing packages that detail the construction of rooms for both in-house and external fabrication, and oversees the production and final assembly process, continually improving designs after installation.
This is a “working” design engineer role, with the Design Engineer responsible for managing and organizing the work, as well as prototyping and implementing finished solutions directly. A Design Engineer is passionate about getting the details right, anticipating staff and guest needs, and advancing the Level
99 brand. A Level
99 Engineer has honesty and personal integrity that is above reproach, prefers a joyful and positive approach to challenging situations, chooses humility over the need to “be right,” and in all things acts as though s/he is the Owner and Operator of each Level
99 venue.
