- Manage project execution from initial concept through construction completion
- Ensure adherence to technical, regulatory, and funding requirements
- Act as the primary client point of contact
- Guide clients through funding options, permitting, and project execution
- Supervise multidisciplinary teams and provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight
- Prepare and oversee construction documents, including permit applications, drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports
- Maintain high-quality standards
- Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
- Address project needs and resolve design challenges
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities
- Contribute to proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
- Plan, design, and administer construction of drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Support capital improvement planning, hydraulic modeling, asset management programs, and water resource planning studies
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the water and wastewater industry
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong technical skills
- Strong leadership ability with a passion for managing and mentoring others
- Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred:
Master’s degree in a relevant field - Preferred:
Familiarity with New England and New York water and wastewater regulations, permitting processes, and funding opportunities - Preferred:
Understanding of Revit use on multidisciplinary water and wastewater infrastructure projects - Preferred:
Experience in water and wastewater system design, including treatment plants, pump stations, conveyance systems, and asset management planning - Preferred:
Enthusiasm for learning and a self-motivated approach to professional growth - Preferred:
Additional licensure in multiple states to support diverse project needs
Demonstrates expertise in managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and funding requirements while providing leadership and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams. Proficient in project management, construction document preparation, and client engagement.
