Position: Wealth Management - Solutions & Product Development (Cross-Asset Trading) - Vice President

The Solutions & Product Development team partners closely with Cross-Asset Trading Desk leadership and key support functions to manage: (a) new products and business solutions; (b) product governance and development; (c) regulatory initiatives and (d) trading process enhancements.

As a Vice President in the Solutions & Product Development Team, you are responsible for shaping product strategy and leading the end-to-end delivery of investment product initiatives—both business-driven and regulatory-driven—across multiple asset classes, including Cash Equities, ETFs, Listed Options, Fixed Income, and FX. You will work with Trading, control partners, and functional stakeholders to design, implement, and embed new capabilities and operating models for the Asia Wealth Management platform.

responsibilities
  • Review current investment offerings and business models across Wealth Management, partnering with the Cross-Asset Trading desk to define priorities and new opportunities.
  • Lead new product development and the implementation of new investment capabilities for the Asia WM platform.
  • Own and maintain trading processes, operating procedures, and product documentation.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Controls, Operations and Technology to identify, assess, and mitigate risks and regulatory exposure related to trading processes across asset classes.
  • Develop and manage project plans spanning strategy definition, governance, solution design, stakeholder engagement and implementation.
  • Prepare high-quality updates and materials for senior management, including progress, risks, issues and decision points.
  • Act as a local subject‑matter expert on Cross‑Asset Trading processes, contributing to global and firm‑wide strategic initiatives.
  • Build a deep understanding of end-to‑end operating models and infrastructure supporting product offerings (processes, systems, controls and handoffs).
  • Establish strong working relationships with senior investment leadership, Business Management, Marketing, Finance and Tax to drive and sustain change.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proactive and accountable, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated strong project management discipline.
  • Ability to diagnose current‑state processes, identify risks/inefficiencies/opportunities, and design practical solutions.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the confidence to propose recommendations and drive adoption with business leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex topics into clear messages for diverse audiences (senior management, client advisors, market participants, operations, technology, and more).
  • Solid understanding of end‑to‑end trading workflows and client advisor interactions, with familiarity across Equities, ETFs, Fixed Income, and FX, including market conventions, settlement procedures, systems, and protocols across asset classes.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills; able to break down complex issues and navigate legal, compliance, technology, and behavioral constraints while meeting business demands.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge assumptions to improve processes and controls.
  • 6+ years of experience in Private Wealth Management and/or Investment Banking, with exposure to product implementation, product development, process re‑engineering, and/or business management.
  • Fluency in English required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience managing multiple work streams in fast‑paced environments, with large‑scale planning and investment product initiative experience preferred.
  • Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Associate position.
