Valuation Managing Consultant - Corporate Finance

BRG Transaction and Valuation Opinions provides valuation services in support of transaction opinions, portfolio valuation, tax and financial reporting, litigation, and special situations such as restructuring and bankruptcy support. Our clients include leading hedge funds, private‑equity funds, venture capital funds, limited partners, lenders, corporations, boards of directors, independent directors, and attorneys.

We seek individuals with proven management skills, strong financial modeling capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with industry specialists. The individual will work under senior management consulting professionals on a broad range of valuation engagements and will be expected to grow into leadership roles.

• Technical
  • Analyze historical and projected financial information.
  • Develop detailed financial models to value companies and complex securities.
  • Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models.
  • Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Present thorough valuation analyses to clients.
  • Experience with option pricing models (Black‑Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred.

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Five to seven years of prior valuation work experience, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm.
• Experience leading development and completion of client‑ready valuation deliverables (or similar).
• Progress toward an ASA designation or similar designation is viewed favorably.
• Ability to submit verification of legal right to work in the United States; no sponsorship required.

Salary range: $120,000–$185,000.
