About the Role

We are looking for a 3‑5 PQE Associate to join our Real Estate Finance team. The role will be based in one of our offices:
Cardiff, Cheltenham, Worcester, Birmingham, Leamington Spa or Reading (Thames Valley). The position is ideal for someone with a Real Estate Finance background or exposure to real estate finance through a broader commercial property role.

• Advise on a range of real‑estate finance matters, covering loans related to property sales, acquisitions, development financing and refinance of existing debt.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of real‑estate finance issues, working collaboratively with colleagues to share expertise.
• Identify business‑development opportunities and refer work across the firm’s practice areas.
• Support client relationships, preparing documents and drafting technical advice.
• Manage workload largely unsupervised, ensuring timely delivery of client files.

• 3–5 years post‑qualification (PQE).
• Experience or exposure to real‑estate finance or a related commercial property role.
• Excellent technical ability and drafting skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proactive, ambitious and highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to work largely unsupervised and to manage one’s own files.
