Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with both finance and operations teams to connect the revenue plan to the production plan.

This role will cover a broad range of duties supporting operations and financial planning and analysis including managing the company product cost models as well as overall corporate financial planning. It will also assist in driving the performance of the company in a broad range of operational and strategic areas including metrics, analytics and implementation of new processes.

As a key member of the finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst participates in analysis across multiple product lines, including multiple vertically integrated products, and helps analyze KPI’s that will lead to achieving company goals and increasing company revenue.

• Develop a deep understanding of the existing business using data to build insights about customers, products and competitors.
• Oversee company product cost models and analyze manufacturing costs and drivers, including inventory.
• Synthesize financial impacts on the business and provide business analytics to drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth.
• Support sales and operations teams on medium and long‑term planning including revenue potential, product focus, and pricing.
• Strategically evaluate market opportunities and work with leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive growth in the business.
• Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics.
• Assist in planning and executing activities with other functions and stakeholders - FP&A, Strategic Planning, and more.
• Work closely with senior management for budgeting and forecasting as well as annual planning.
• Manage efficient distribution of financial reports and other intelligence essential to the company strategic plan.
• Accountable for accurate and on‑time reporting including forecasting.
• Assist with analysis of product performance and adoption to drive insights.
• Understand and highlight daily/weekly/quarterly revenue trends.
• Prepare periodic forecasts to update management on projections, determine significant variance from budget and provide explanations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related required.
• 5 or more years of relevant financial planning and analysis – experience must include manufacturing industry experience; experience analyzing cost of goods sold and inventory required.
• Prior experience at a mid to large sized company/division in manufacturing
• Previous experience in annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to foster cooperative relationships with peer leaders, management, and support personnel.
• Must be results driven, solution oriented, focused and motivated with excellent decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel modeling required.
• Proficient with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, Power BI or Tableau
