Job SummaryUnder minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
- Completes required exams; sends studies to the reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.
- Performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
- Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required:
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program. - Licensure/Certification:
- AMRIT and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training
- Must obtain MRI Registry within 1 year of hire.
- BLS
- State license if required
Preferred:
- Education:
Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree. - Experience:
1-3 years of relevant experience. - Licensure/Certification: ARRT (MR)
