Receives and transports patients and visitors in a safe and timely manner to their designated destination. Documents requests for services to provide an accurate and timely tracking system. Maintains wheelchairs, stretchers, and all other used equipment in clean and sanitary condition and ensures proper working order. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Transports patients from one area of the hospital to another as needed.
- Cleans all equipment as assigned.
- Assists other employees as directed.
- May assist with clerical work in the department as time permits.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience:
Patient transportation or customer service experience - Certifications:
BLS
$15.00 - $17.40 hourly. Individual wages are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
