UMass Memorial Health - - - Responsibilities:
Processes and releases orders using pharmacy dispense queue;
Oncology order set up through gathering drug, diluent, base solution, tubing, filters, labels, as well as anything else required for compounding.;
Delivers patient medications to patient's rooms and medication room areas.;
Maintains inventory, reorders, restocks, and monitors expiration dates of all medications in the pharmacy as well as floor stock medication provided via Pyxis.;
Prepares intravenous (IV) drugs using aseptic technique in compounding cytotoxic chemotherapy, targeted monoclonal antibodies, immunotherapy, oncolytic viruses and other IV drugs.
