Major Responsibilities
Under Direction of the Vice President, lead assigned service division, including oversight of clinical, programmatic, budget, staffing, operations, regulatory compliance, and provision of services.Provide supervision/consultation to assigned individuals and/or groups to advance clinical care. Provide regular, documented clinical and/or administrative supervision of management and staff.Evaluate staffing patterns and coverage, programmatic structure, treatment interventions, and services to ensure safety, security, and quality care to clients.Ensure regular annual and supplemental professional development training classes are provided to and attended/completed by managers and division staff. Develops, provides and facilitates training for staff and managers that align with standards of practice, compliance requirements and the agency's strategic plan.Coordinates facility compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards; coordinates upkeep of environment of care.Serves as a liaison among other divisions and administrative departments to facilitate consistent and effective communication around program needs. Participates in assigned agency and system wide initiatives and work groups.Collaborates with other division leaders and administrative departments to design, develop, implement, monitor and update client centered workflows and practices that are efficient, cost effective, and evidence based.Fosters and maintains relationships with external stakeholders and represents CHL at all local and statewide meetings, coalitions, and other stakeholder events. Develops referral pathways to and from community providers to support access to care for clients.Under the direction of and in conjunction with the Vice President, responds to RFRs (Requests for Response), program renewals, grant proposals, implement and oversee new programs as funds are made available.Develops and implements plans for continuity of program management responsibilities and program operations when key positions are vacant. Provides on-call support and consultation to program staff/leadership as needed during program operating hours.Standard Management Level Responsibilities
Directs and supervises assigned personnel including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves grievances and other personnel problems within position responsibilities.Develops and recommends budgets for the areas managed. Manages activities to assure financial goals are met.Coordinates the assignment of tasks and helps resolve technical and operational problems. Evaluates the impact of solutions to ensure goals are achieved. Provide support to managers and staff to meet metrics in their programs and services.Provides effective direction, guidance, and leadership over the staff for effective teamwork and fosters the effective integration of efforts with system-wide initiatives.Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors.Integrates diversity into departmental objectives, such as hiring, promotions, training, vendor selections, etc.Leads and participates in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrates the use of quality improvement in daily operations.Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies including CARF, DPH, DMH, and DEEC. Develops and maintains procedures necessary to meet regulatory requirements.
