Position: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Opportunity

As a Radiologic Technologist (RT) at ConvenientMD, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care in urgent care clinics. You will combine radiology expertise with hands‑on clinical support to ensure accurate diagnoses and the best possible treatment for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and perform radiologic procedures following ConvenientMD and ARRT protocols, including operating radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment while maintaining radiation safety and ALARA principles.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging, document studies in EMR and PACS, and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation, manage discrepancies, and coordinate outside imaging requests.
  • Switch efficiently between RT and Medical Assistant responsibilities, conducting patient triage, providing laboratory and diagnostic testing, and performing vision, hearing, drug screening, pulmonary function testing, and point‑of‑care diagnostics.
  • Maintain clean, sterile exam rooms and instruments to ensure a safe clinical environment.
  • Support clinical care standards by adhering to ConvenientMD policies and delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care.
  • Manage radiology supply inventory, submit orders as needed, perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs, participate in quality control studies, and maintain accurate records in alignment with HIPAA and ConvenientMD protocols.
  • Support onboarding and training for new clinic team members, fostering a positive work environment and communicating effectively with colleagues and external providers.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • State licensed with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
  • 1-2 years of radiology and patient care experience, preferably in urgent care or emergency settings.

Pay Range

$31.62 - $50.40 USD
