Mental Health Associate, PTRC Nights

Position: Mental Health Associate, PTRC, 32 Hours, Nights
UMass Memorial Health - 26 Queen Street - Responsibilities:
Participates as a member of the mental health team on an inpatient and/or outpatient unit and provides direct patient care including care planning and milieu safety assessments;
Communicates observations to the Registered Nurse and documents patient data;  Maintains patient safety and assists in de-escalation and calming techniques as directed;
Leads or co-leads group activities and supports treatment plans with the clinical team;
Performs basic clinical tasks (vital signs, specimen collection, basic procedures) as directed by the RN
