Activities Specialist

Pay$20.50/hr

- Support personal care needs: assist individuals with dining, toileting, and transfers, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Implement engaging programs: develop and lead individual and group activities that promote skill development, independence, and community integration.
- Collaborate on behavior plans: work with the clinical team to create and implement behavior management strategies tailored to each individual.
- Facilitate transportation: assist with transporting participants to various activities and appointments as needed.
- Evaluate and document progress: conduct satisfaction surveys, document participant progress, and ensure compliance with Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred; high school diploma with 1 year of related experience also accepted.
- Compassionate, organized, and eager to make a difference.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to assist in physical interventions as needed.
