UMass Memorial Health - - Responsibilities:
Escort ambulatory patients, transport them by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed;
Assist nursing staff with moving and positioning patients using lift devices;
Deliver stretchers, beds, cribs and wheelchairs; sanitize transport equipment; maintain logs;
Transport patient specimens and blood products between labs and units;
Deliver other materials such as medical records, pharmaceuticals, X-ray films, sterile items, and reports as required
