UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Patient Transporter to escort and transport patients ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities include transporting patients by wheelchair and stretcher, assisting nursing staff, and maintaining cleanliness of transport equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire. An ability to communicate effectively in English and previous experience in a hospital environment are preferred.
