As a Postdoctoral Clinician, you'll gain comprehensive experience in both psychological assessment and outpatient psychotherapy while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
Psychological Assessment & Diagnostic Evaluation- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents.
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, personality, and diagnostic testing.
- Prepare thorough psychological reports with diagnostic impressions, clinical findings, and evidence-based treatment recommendations.
- Present assessment results to youth, families, and treatment teams in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with clinicians to develop individualized treatment recommendations and care plans.
- Provide individual and family psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment models such as:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Trauma-informed interventions
- Other developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Support youth experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, behavioral challenges, and other mental health concerns.
- Facilitate family therapy sessions that strengthen communication, improve relationships, and build healthy coping strategies.
- Receive ongoing individual supervision from licensed psychologists while completing postdoctoral licensure requirements.
- Participate in clinical consultation, case reviews, and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Develop expertise in psychological testing, diagnosis, and evidence-based clinical interventions.
- Attend professional development opportunities, trainings, and educational seminars designed to support your growth toward independent licensure.
- Partner with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
