What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments and determine the appropriate level of care using evidence-based clinical tools and sound clinical judgment.
  • Provide short-term, solution-focused interventions through the CBHC Access Center and deliver individual, couples, family, and group therapy using BHN-approved evidence-based frameworks and treatment pathways.
  • Complete comprehensive risk and safety evaluations and take appropriate action to support the safety of individuals served and others.
  • Coordinate regularly with Access Navigators, care team members, family members, guardians, residential providers, and other community partners to support integrated, person-centered treatment.
  • Help individuals make measurable progress toward assessed needs and treatment goals, using standardized assessment and outcome tools to guide care.
  • Support individuals in transitioning to the least intensive clinically appropriate level of care while maintaining treatment frequency and duration consistent with medical necessity and utilization-management guidelines.
  • Complete progress notes, comprehensive and diagnostic assessments, Integrated Individual Action Plans, plan updates, and other required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines.
  • Maintain an appropriate caseload, direct-service volume, work schedule, and performance expectations, adjusting scheduling and caseload mix as needed to meet program objectives.
  • Provide services flexibly across CBHC locations, homes, schools, healthcare settings, community locations, and telehealth platforms based on individual and program needs.
  • Protect confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, ethical standards, payer requirements, regulatory requirements, and BHN policies.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, evidence-based treatment consultation, required training, and continuing education while working toward or maintaining professional licensure.

Who You Are:

  • Master's degree in a license-eligible behavioral health field required.
  • Current independent clinical license in Massachusetts, such as LICSW, LMHC, required.
  • Experience or training working with individuals who have co-occurring mental health and substance-use disorders, or a demonstrated willingness to develop this expertise.
