Financial Clearance Specialist

UMass Memorial Health - 67 Millbrook Street - Responsibilities:
Assess and verify patient information for scheduled medical services, including demographic, financial, and insurance details;
Collect co-pays, deductibles, coinsurances, and down payments; provide estimates of patient financial liability;
Receive and process patient payments and ensure pre-certification or referral is in place prior to service;
Refer patients to Financial Counselors or Business Office as appropriate;
Reschedule appointments when required by financial circumstances or department guidance
