Description And Responsibilities

As a Relief Counselor, you will support individuals facing mental health challenges, helping them live independently and achieve personal goals.

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered treatment plans and lead daily implementation.
• Assist individuals to access transportation.
• Implement activities that create opportunities for valued roles and community relationships.
• Review and complete all required documentation.

Relief Counselors play a significant role in our mission by providing direct support care, ensuring daily living needs are met while maintaining a safe and inspiring atmosphere.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Open Sky Community Services is a Department of Mental Health funded service that delivers evidence-based interventions within a clinically focused model. Individuals served are diagnosed with mental illness or dual diagnosis and reside in their homes, apartments, or group living environments.
