Description

We are currently seeking an MCI Supervisor to oversee triage operations for our Adult and Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (AMCI/YMCI) teams within our Emergency Services division.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide direct shift oversight of master's level Triage Clinicians
  • Ensure timely assignment of incoming requests for assessment and assign appropriate crisis staff to cases based on triage guidelines
  • Directly monitor and supervise triage clinicians responsible for information gathering and case requests
  • Monitor and update the shift tracker, and manage the bulletin board and other shift tools
  • Consult with the clinical director when guidance is needed
  • Maintain the shift and ensure shift productivity, prioritizing mobile assessments as the primary model of response
  • Monitor call volume and call quality, providing direct feedback to and leadership of triage staff
  • Model professionalism and teamwork, ensuring staff follow policies and procedures and holding staff accountable to them
  • Assist in facilitating team meetings and group supervision
  • Monitor Quality Assurance measures implemented by leadership
  • Collaborate at a high level with supervisors of Central Intake, MCI teams, and Co-response partners to coordinate shift operations

Who You Are:

  • Master's Degree with 2+ years of post-graduate clinical work experience required
  • Licensure (LMHC or LICSW) required
  • 2 years of prior supervisory experience required
  • Experience in clinical assessment and triage
  • Strong understanding of crisis states and effective de-escalation skills
  • Demonstrates active listening, critical thinking, empathy, and patience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to provide solution-focused, strengths-based treatment and connect individuals to appropriate community resources
  • Knowledgeable in and able to apply the Recovery Oriented model for those experiencing a mental health crisis
  • Skilled in planning, organizing, scheduling, coordinating, and decision-making across all areas of responsibility

Salary Range: $73,000-$85,000
