Seeking a Medical Assistant or EMT for a full-time role in a Family Practice/Internal Medicine department.
Key responsibilities include:- Preparing exam rooms and sterilizing equipment
- Rooming patients, obtaining health histories, and checking vital signs
- Documenting care using electronic medical records
- Performing phlebotomy, urinalysis, and handling specimens
- Administering medications and immunizations
- Assisting providers with minor procedures and point-of-care testing
- Technical certification, 1+ years of relevant experience, current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assistant program, or EMT certification
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA, CMAC)
- BLS-CPR certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC)
- Proficiency in vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and medication administration
The role offers competitive pay, benefits, incentives, and growth opportunities, with hourly wages ranging from $16.00 to $25.00 depending on experience and qualifications.
