Food & Beverage Supervisor

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Part Time Food and Beverage Supervisor at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts 01608.This is apart time,event related position.

This positionprimarilyoversees all Suite/Food and Beverageoperations which include making sure all suites are readyto be used. Position overseessetting up portable bars, breaking down portable bars, and assisting with monthly beverage inventory, assisting concession/warehouse needs, and assisting Banquet functionswhen there are limited Suite duties.

This position also oversees all suite attendants, bartenders and barbacks in the absence of theFood and Beverage Outlets Manager .

• Training of all suite attendants/barbacks

• Overall Assistance helping all Food and Beverage areas including concessions and banquets

• Communicating withsuite customers to ensure all needs have beenmet

• Prepare tasks for function rooms/arena bar settings and side work lists

• Maintaining allsuite/bar equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance

• Involved in all food and beverage monthly reporting and inventory as assigned

• Maintain a Health Department score of 90 or higher

• Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must

• Position is very hands on with excessive interaction with clients during events

• Recordkeeping (Attendance, Event Reports,Staff Evaluations)

• Other duties deemed necessary bythe
  
  Director of Food & Beverage

• Position reports directly to the Concessions Manager, but also is a direct report
  
  Banquet Mgr.,Executive Chef, and Director of Food and Beverage based on the event

Supervises all Part-time suite attendants, bartenders, barbacks, warehouse, andconcessionstand workers.

Knowledge of Excel and ability to learn other software

• High School Diploma or GED required

• At least one year experience ina bar/restaurant establishment

• Advanced oral and written communication skills

• Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility

• Excellent organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Serv Safe Allergen Certificate, and Alcohol Training Certificate.
