As a member of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, the TA Consultant will partner with hiring managers to execute recruitment strategies to build a qualified and diverse candidate pools. Act as a talent advisor to hiring leaders at UMMH and offer a positive, respectful, and inclusive experience to all candidates throughout the process. Ensures performance with established TA metrics and service levels.
While sourcing candidates is a responsibility of this role, the TA Consultant may engage with the TA Sourcing team on difficult-to-fill or high-volume roles as needed. The TA Consultant will raise attractiveness issues to the TA Leadership team to ensure diverse quality hiring.

Medical Assistants (MA)
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
Registered Nurses (RN)
Ambulatory Service Representatives (ASR)
I. Major ResponsibilitiesMonitors performance against established TA metrics and service level agreements through the full lifecycle of recruitment.
License/Certification/Education
- Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Human Capital Institute Strategic Acquisition certification required or achieved within 1 year of employment
- Preferred:
- Relevant professional credentials, such as SHRM-CP, HCI Strategic Talent Acquisition, or Certified Internet Recruiter
Required:
- 2 to 4 years of related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to maintain discretion in confidential situations
- Experience with computer systems required including web-based applications and Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access
Preferred:
- Previous human resources or talent acquisition experience;
Linked In Recruiter knowledge a plus - Workday experience highly desirable
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
Department-specific competencies, including age-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.
