Position: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Manager

Description & Responsibilities

The Manager of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) supports the Director of DEIB in implementing the organization’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.

This role plays a vital part in executing DEIB programs, coordinating activities, managing projects, and engaging employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate DEIB‑related events, trainings, workshops, and activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support the development and dissemination of DEIB resources, including educational materials, toolkits, and communication materials including newsletters and management of DEIB intranet page.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees seeking information, resources, or support related to DEIB matters including the “Speak‑up Process”.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to integrate DEIB principles into recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement processes.
  • Collect and analyze data related to DEIB initiatives, including participant feedback, program evaluations, and demographic information.
  • Facilitate and/or co‑lead DEIB‑focused affinity groups, committees, or working groups, fostering collaboration and dialogue among participants.
  • Conduct research on DEIB best practices, emerging trends, and industry benchmarks, providing insights, recommendations to inform decision‑making and maintenance of DEIB‑related policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant coursework or certification in DEIB preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership in DEIB roles, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
