- People Practices and working closely with hiring directors and supervisors, the Human Resources Associate/Payroll Administrator will play a crucial role in identifying staffing needs and creating plans for hiring talent. We invite you to join us!
As part of a collaborative team, the Human Resources Associate & Payroll Admin. will post and communicate job opportunities on job boards and social media. Will perform necessary payroll and finance-related functions to ensure high-quality internal operations for the association. Working under tight deadlines, confidentiality and discretion will always be maintained, fostering a sense of trust and camaraderie within the team.
- High school diploma or GED. A Human Resources certificate or undergraduate degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Human Resources, including Talent Acquisition/Recruitment and Payroll Processing. Direct experience working with Paylocity HRIS preferred.
- Work requires the ability to produce written communications, including correspondence, employment postings, processes, and policies. Develops training series using a variety of formats.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experienced in utilizing job boards and posting job opportunities on social media platforms (e.g., Indeed, Linked In, etc.).
- Must be highly skilled in generating reports, organization, scheduling and/or coordinating events, and interpersonal (written and verbal) communication.
- Must be detail-oriented and exhibit a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be flexible, have excellent time management work habits, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and be able to meet tight deadlines.
- Must have the ability to travel within the local area.
- Have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently or in a team environment.
- Possess a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Must possess the ability to exercise high levels of discretion and confidentiality and the ability to develop positive working relationships with employees at different levels of the organization.
- Must be able to build and maintain community, business, and college relationships.
- Experienced with decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experienced with being detail-oriented.
- Must possess a degree of professionalism and excellent customer service aptitude.
- Work on a schedule that reflects the needs of the department.
- Experience working with a diverse population.
