Role OverviewAs an Informatica Data Governance Cloud Account Executive, you will unlock the power of our Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) by partnering with Core AEs to drive high‑impact outcomes. This role requires a unique blend of sales acumen and technical depth. We are looking for a strategist who can translate technical requirements into business value—someone who can navigate the complexities of governance frameworks while effectively communicating their financial impact to C‑suite stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Achieve a dedicated quota for Data Governance products by identifying and closing complex opportunities.
- Understand data governance best practices and deliver high‑impact presentations demonstrating how data transparency drives competitive advantage.
- Conduct deep use case qualification with customers related to Data Governance and Quality.
- Drive forecasting accuracy and pipeline generation for Data Governance and Quality products.
- Serve as a trusted advisor bridging governance principles with the strategic business outcomes of C‑suite executives.
- Thrive in a collaborative, value‑driven environment, sharing best practices and contributing to a high‑energy sales culture.
- Lead pricing and consumption capacity scoping efforts.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality Sales, and/or implementation.
- Deep understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and general data privacy standards (e.g., CCPA, GDPR).
- Experience with Data Governance/Data Quality platforms and technologies (e.g., Informatica IDMC, Collibra, Alation).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, cross‑functional team environments to achieve targets consistently.
- Strong business acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills.

CompensationThe typical base salary range for this position is $123,200 - $164,850 annually. In California and New York, and select cities in Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range is $135,300 - $181,000 per year. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, and benefits.
