Job Summary:We are seeking a Windows 11 Deployment Analyst to support a Windows 10 LTSC and Windows 11 modernization initiative within our biopharmaceutical client’s Research & Development laboratory environment. This position will own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of laboratory workstations, including deployment readiness, scientist coordination, workstation imaging, operating system upgrades, application and instrument validation, and post-deployment support. The role requires strong desktop engineering, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to complete deployments with minimal disruption to scientific research and laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute Windows 10 LTSC and Windows 11 deployments within a Lab Compute environment.
- Coordinate deployment schedules with scientists, laboratory personnel, and Site Leads.
- Perform workstation replacements, OS upgrades, user profile migrations, and post-deployment validation.
- Validate laboratory applications, instrument connectivity, and business-critical software following deployment (internally with client teams / externally with associated vendors).
- Troubleshoot deployment issues involving SCCM, Active Directory, Windows operating systems, networking, and endpoint management.
- Maintain accurate deployment documentation, dashboards, and daily status reporting.
- Participate in deployment readiness activities, including inventory validation, application compatibility reviews, and deployment planning.
- Provide white-glove support and hypercare following deployments to ensure successful user adoption.
- 3+ years supporting Windows desktop deployments or enterprise endpoint management.
- Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Hands-on experience performing workstation imaging, OS migrations, and user profile migrations.
- Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) or Microsoft Intune.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, hardware, networking, and Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work directly with business users and laboratory personnel.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deployment activities.
- Strong organizational skills with experience updating deployment trackers, documentation, and status reports.
- Previous experience supporting laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
- Familiarity with software validation and application compatibility testing.
- Experience using Service Now or a similar ITSM platform.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Group Policy, Bit Locker, and endpoint security.
