Applicants must demonstrate strong litigation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to guide clients through complex and emotionally charged legal disputes. Compensation: $86,000 - $120,000 yearly Responsibilities:
* Independently manage a full caseload of family law and/or civil litigation matters
* Appear in Probate & Family Court and District/Superior Court as required
* Draft and argue motions, evidentiary hearings, and trials
* Handle divorce, custody, child support, alimony, contempt, modification, restraining orders, and removal matters
* Manage real estate issues related to divorce (equity division, partition, escrow disputes)
* Conduct discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations
* Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and judgments with precision and efficiency
* Strategically advise clients and develop litigation plans
* Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure organized and timely case progression
Qualifications:
* J.D. from an accredited law school
* Licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar
* Minimum 5 years of substantive experience in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation
* Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
* Proven ability to manage cases independently
* Experience handling high-conflict matters
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
* Ability to maintain composure under pressure
