Intellectual Property Attorney

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel - Intellectual Property to join its corporate legal team.

Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing strategies to protect and manage intellectual property assets Manage the intellectual property portfolio, including patent, copyright, and trademark filings and enforcement Provide legal counsel for strategic transactions and advise on technology agreements and compliance with intellectual property laws

Required Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Member in good standing of at least one state bar and preferably registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office Minimum of 3 years of experience as an intellectual property attorney at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal position Extensive knowledge of patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret law, particularly in software and technology Experience advising software companies and familiarity with software development and licensing practices
