Texas Licensed Senior Staff Counsel

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Counsel to establish and manage a new in-house litigation office in Texas.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with legal and claims teams to establish and operationalize the Texas staff counsel office Handle all phases of litigation for assigned cases, from initial investigation to trial and post-trial activities Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and workflow enhancements

Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas Minimum 5-9 years of trial attorney experience, preferably in insurance defense litigation Strong knowledge of Texas law and civil procedure, particularly in personal injury and general liability cases Proficiency in legal case management software and remote collaboration technologies
