Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice and counsel to the Institutional Markets business, including drafting and reviewing reinsurance agreements Support due diligence and strategic initiatives to grow the business while maintaining oversight of in-force operations Collaborate with various legal and compliance teams to ensure consistent legal practices across business lines
Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of legal experience in life insurance, annuity, or reinsurance sectors Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills Experience in a large multinational law firm and/or in-house legal department J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar (preferably NY, TX, or CA) Ability to influence diverse stakeholders and build consensus
