Attorney - Estate Planning

An established estate planning firm in Worcester is looking for an attorney to join its team. The firm has two attorneys and an experienced support staff. It has built an excellent reputation over many years, along with a loyal client base and well-developed systems that keep the practice running smoothly. The attorney will handle estate planning and elder law matters including Medicaid planning, probate trust administration and more.

There will be opportunities for leadership as the firm grows, and potentially the chance to manage the daily operations and take over the practice at some point in the future. Candidates must have direct experience in estate planning to be considered for this opportunity.

• Meet with clients to understand their goals and design estate plans
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare proxies, and related documents
• Manage a daily caseload of estate planning matters from intake through signing
• Assist with probate and trust administration matters [confirm with client]
• Supervise and work with paralegals to keep matters moving efficiently
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar
• At least 1 year of experience in estate planning, probate or a related area of law
• Ability to commute fully in‑person to the firm's office in Worcester
• Strong drafting, organizational, and client communication skills
• Self‑motivated, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of a caseload
