The Role
Project Manager – Solar. Working for Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) of a large renewable construction company. You will work mostly independently as business and project support in collaboration with the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager and will report to the onsite manager.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of, manage a portfolio of assigned Solar projects through the Early‑Stage processes:
Screening, Diligence and Early‑Stage Pipeline in preparation for turnover to Late‑Stage Project Management. - Leverage technical, commercial, and financial expertise to support and guide the broader team towards overall project, department, and corporate targets.
- Analyze technical and financial data, build notable variables, indicators, and trends.
- Investigate broader market impacts on your portfolio of projects.
- Daily management of each assigned Solar project: delivering a technically feasible, schedule‑appropriate, commercially supported, and financially viable project.
- Support in the creation and management of each individual Solar project capital budget, balancing variances across the portfolio.
- Use multiple software applications to support activities, manage data and deliverables, and report on key indicators.
- Support the larger Early‑Stage team with process, tool, and training projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
- Project Management experience.
- Strong financial and data analysis skillset.
- Mechanical awareness and/or interest in technical variables.
Base salary range: $35.00/hr to $40.00/hr, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
