As a Project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced Project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of our Air Force Clients. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Office, Github, and Jira and regular interactions with technical SMEs, client leadership, and internal senior leadership.

Responsibilities

As a Project management specialist, you’ll support a project from concept to completion. You’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of our Air Force Clients. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Office, Github, and Jira and regular interactions with technical SMEs, client leadership, and internal senior leadership.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs, including oversight of scope, schedule, budget, and risk
  • Experience developing project plans, resource estimates, schedules, and performance metrics
  • Experience identifying, tracking, mitigating, and communicating risks and issues proactively
  • Experience working with clients, technical teams, external partners, and leadership to align on goals and resolve challenges
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver projects within cost, schedule, and performance parameters
  • Ability to brief senior leaders and translate technical information into actionable guidance
  • Ability to lead teams, guide decision-making, resolve conflicts, and foster collaborative, high-performing environments
  • Ability to track budgets, manage spend plans, and support cost estimating and forecasting
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering, or management field
Nice If You Have
  • Experience with Air Force Military clientele
  • Experience in leading programs in fast-paced or highly technical environments, including DoD, Air Force, or joint service organizations
