- Serves as an assistant to the VP, Internal Audit
- Leads advanced level professional internal auditing work
- Directs a comprehensive audit program including performance, financial, and compliance audit projects
- Provides consulting services to management and staff
- Provides ongoing training, coaching and supervision to internal audit management and staff
- Maintains organizational and professional ethical standards
- Works independently with extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgement
- Directs audit staff in planning, organizing, directing and monitoring internal audit operations
- Assists in the identification and evaluation of risk areas
- Oversees annual enterprise-wide risk assessment and audit plan
- Communicates audit results via written reports and oral presentations to management
- Develops and maintains productive client, staff, and management relationships
- Bachelor’s degree
- Eight or more years of progressive professional experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation
- At least four years in a supervisory or project management capacity
- Strong expertise in internal auditing and accounting principles
- Solid understanding of management practices and effective business operations
- Ability to lead teams and oversee complex reviews or projects
- Apply analytical and risk-based thinking
- Gaming industry knowledge is essential
- Understanding of regulatory environments, compliance standards, and operational controls
